Complete Traceability
Every batch carries a unique lot code traceable to the farmer group, harvest date, and fermentation protocol — from our Gunung Kidul plantation to your facility.
Cultivation
Java Criollo cacao planted and grown by smallholder farmers in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, under PUSLITKOKA guidance.
Harvesting
Selective pod harvesting at peak ripeness. Two seasons: May–June and October–November. Each harvest lot is tracked.
Fermentation
Traditional box fermentation protocol (5–7 days). Fermentation logs maintained per batch. Target fermentation index ≥85%.
Drying
Solar and mechanical drying to ≤7% moisture. Quality inspection at each stage with BRIN collaboration.
Processing
Roasting, cracking, winnowing, and grinding at our facility. Full traceability from bean to liquor/powder/butter/nibs.
Export
Packaged, quality-tested (COA issued per batch), and dispatched. FOB Tanjung Emas, Semarang.
Empowering Local Farmers
We work with a community of smallholder farmers in Gunung Kidul, providing training, resources, and guaranteed off-take agreements. Our farmers receive premium prices for Criollo-grade cacao — above commodity market rates.
Guided by PUSLITKOKA (Indonesia's Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute), we implement scientifically-backed cultivation practices that improve yield quality without compromising the natural terroir that makes Java Criollo exceptional.
